Gavin Harrison

Gavin Harrison is an Australian-born Executive producer and creative innovator based in Los Angeles.

After leaving Newington Collage and graduating Film school with Distinction and receiving awards for “Most Outstanding Student” and “Best Editor.” Harrison landed his first job at the age of 17 working with Steven Priest, a famed music producer and director whose company Priest Productions created videos for Elton John, David Bowie, INXS, Duran Duran, among others. During his time at the production company, he became a first assistant director while also pursuing an acting career. Harrison's acting career quickly gained traction, signing with the William Morris Agency winning roles and accolades in both film and television.  Acting alongside revered actors Naomi Watts, James Earle Jones, Patty Duke, Eric Roberts, Burt Reynolds and Dick Van Dyke to name a few. 

After starring in numerous network televisions shows, mini-series and multiple films, Harrison decided to return to his roots behind the camera for inspiration again.  Shifting focus he began camera assisting for several high-profile celebrity photographers, most notably Helmut Newton. During this time he worked on publications for Vogue, GQ on set with Sir Ben Kingsley and Mickey Rourke, Harrison also oversaw printing and film development. This experience laid the foundation for him to launch his own production company.

In his 15 year career as executive producer, Harrison works across multiple creative disciplines including live action, CGI, still photography, and motion/print hybrid productions; he creates content for global brands including American Airlines, Apple, Audi, BMW, FIFA, Fisker, GUCCI, Hyundai, Infiniti, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes, Midway games, Nissan, OnePlus, Philips Global, Samsung, Snapchat, Subaru, T-Mobile, Tesla Motors, Toyota, Vogue, VW and is know for high security code red productions.

While producing these large-scale projects, Harrison also created a music project called “mtrack” to explore his interests in composing cinematic electronica. Taking inspiration from life and his personal experiences, Harrison’s music engages listeners on a visual journey through sound. His music is distributed globally via Spotify, iTunes.

As a photographer, Harrison’s work has been published for major clients across a wide range of industries worldwide, including game box covers like Narc and Battlefield 2 for Midway Games. He is represented by Getty Images globally.

Harrison has used this multi layered range of experience to become one of the leading producers in his field pioneering mixed media integrated production.
